House of Raeford’s Arcadia and Wallace Plants Achieve Major Food Safety Certification

House of Raeford Farms is pleased to announce that their Arcadia, LA and Wallace, NC chicken processing plants have both achieved SQF 2000 Level 2 certification. They join the company’s Hemingway, SC further processing plant that received SQF 2000 Level 3 certification in 2010.

“We are motivated and committed to consistently supply our customers with safe, wholesome, quality foods”, said Mitzi Gaddy and Dawn Lynch, Quality Control Managers for the Arcadia and Wallace plants respectively. “This certification enables us to assure our customers that food has been produced, processed, prepared, and handled according to the highest possible standards, at all levels of the supply chain.”

The SQF (Safe Quality Food) program is a leading global food safety, quality certification and management system, designed to meet the needs of buyers and suppliers worldwide. It provides independent certification that a supplier’s food safety and quality management system complies with international and domestic food safety regulations.

Both of these House of Raeford operations provide a wide variety of minimally processed chicken products for retail, foodservice, and export customers.
