House of Raeford Farms is pleased to announce the launch of our 2024-2025 college scholarship application period, set to kick off on January 31, 2024.
In an exciting expansion, the scholarship program now extends its reach beyond the dependent children and grandchildren of our dedicated employees to include the dependent children and grandchildren of our committed contract farmers. Qualifying college undergraduate and graduate students may learn details of the program and access the application at our scholarship website.
“We are excited to broaden this opportunity to an even larger pool of deserving students within the House of Raeford family,” said Bob Johnson, CEO. “After a decade of awarding a total of $375,000 to 150 students across six states, we have witnessed firsthand how this scholarship program serves as an important source of support and encouragement in the lives of young people and their families as they pursue their educational aspirations.”
Key Program Details
Application Deadline: March 6, 2024
Eligibility:
- Employees and contract farmers must have a minimum one-year tenure with House of Raeford or under a grower contract, respectively.
- Applicants must be 26 years old or under.
- Planning to pursue full-time or part-time education in college or vocational school programs.
