Feed delivery drivers operate tractor-trailers loaded with feed for delivery to contract growers’ farms. The driver is responsible for unloading the truck with an auger making sure to place the product in the proper storage bin.
Live haul drivers transport live chickens from grow out farms to the processing plant. Responsibilities include securing the load and moving the birds in a safe and timely manner.
Applicants must have a valid commercial drivers’ license (CDL) with a clean MVR, a knowledge of DOT regulations, and understand the safe operations required for a combination vehicle. Drivers must be able to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and be able to work in various weather conditions.
