House of Raeford Farms is pleased to announce the launch of our 2025-2026 college scholarship application period, set to kick off on January 30, 2025.
Last year, the scholarship program successfully expanded to include dependent children and grandchildren of our contract farmers in addition to our dedicated employee families. This expansion resulted in our largest award total in the 11-year history of the program – $80,000 to 32 deserving students.
“House of Raeford is pleased to offer this benefit to the dependents of our associates and farmers,” said Bob Johnson, CEO. “Since its beginning, we have awarded a total of $455,000 to 182 students across six states. Graduates who previously received this scholarship include physicians, engineers, lawyers, educators, and others who will make an impact on the future of our communities and nation. Sowing into the lives of young people is a major outreach of our company.”

Key Program Details
Application Deadline: March 6, 2025
Eligibility:
- Employees and contract farmers must have a minimum one-year tenure with House of Raeford or under a grower contract, respectively.
- Applicants must be 26 years old or under.
- Planning to pursue full-time or part-time education in college or vocational school programs.
