We think companies that do well should also do good.
FLOCK is an acronym for Faithful Love Offering for Christ’s Kingdom. As a nonprofit outreach program, FLOCK partners with charitable organizations to responsibly distribute resources—monetary gifts, product donations, and volunteer activities—to help meet the needs in communities where House of Raeford Farms has operations. Our four pillars of focus are hunger relief, youth development, mental health, and addiction recovery.
At House of Raeford Farms, our mission is to do the right thing in all things that we do. One of the ways we live our mission is by helping those who serve others in their communities expand their reach. Through FLOCK, we help those who are called to do good, do more.
The program began in 2010 when current President and CEO Bob Johnson, pondering the true mission of House of Raeford, began thinking about all the good that could be done by utilizing company resources. He concluded that the company’s calling should be to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Thus was born FLOCK. And its success is the result of the efforts of many.
We have partnerships with nonprofit charitable organizations in our communities and companies with like-minded purposes to enhance outreach capabilities and provide the greatest possible impact.
House of Raeford employees and local citizens give their time. They walk in March of Dimes fundraisers. Organize food drives. Donate blood. Collect and distribute fans to seniors in homes without air conditioning. Pack meals for hungry children in local communities. And much more.
And House of Raeford itself has donated hundreds of thousands of pounds of products to food pantries and feeding programs and millions of dollars to support hunger relief, youth development, addiction recovery, mental illness, after-school mentoring for inner city youth, snacks for impoverished children in local schools, music scholarships for gifted young people in need, and encouragement and practical assistance for battered women striving to regain their independence.
House of Raeford and our employees support the vision of FLOCK and what it stands for more than ever. It’s something we feel absolutely compelled to do.
Local FLOCK teams are providing services in Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina. To speak with a representative, please contact us toll-free at 877-256-5690 or via email at partner@flockcares.org.
